Ike Williams vs Edwin Rosario @ 135

I'd expect Williams to shake off a rocky moment or 2 to prevail by mid-round (5-8) stoppage.

 

Williams by late round stoppage.

Rosario was a terrific puncher but Williams on another level.

Edwin would struggle to beat any of the following: Bob Montgomery, Kid Gavilan, Sammy Angott, Juan Zurita, Freddie Dawson, Tippy Larkin and Beau Jack.

Ike beat them all.

Rosario was a good fighter but Ike Williams is on another level.

It would take a peak Duran to beat him and Rosario is not on that level.

 

Count me along with those picking Ike here. Just too much. He’d be too respectful and responsible to just wade in winging, but he’d land a big shot and overpower Rosario at some point in the first half of the fight and wouldn’t let him off the hook.

 

This, though I expect Rosario to be game. Williams is at the highest level among LW’s though.

 

Ike Williams would KO Rosario. I don't think it would even last that long. I do not rank Rosario as a great, but Williams I do. As another already stated, Ike was on a different level.
