I quite agree, Pacman may be our version of Armstrong.Williams however was the 50's version of Duran.
Williams footwork is too slow on his feet. I don't see how he'll be able to cope with Pacquiao dashing in and out. He plants his feet far too much. He's obviously an overrated puncher too. Regardless of how good soe of his knockouts are, he failed to stop fighters who had a lesser chin than Pacquiao does. Obviously his knockout ratio is far from impressive. I just don't see him hurting Pacquiao over and over again.
I see so far 11 people got Ike and 7got Pac. i wonder if opinions will be swayed now since Pac just whupped on Cotto.
When you think about how well Marquez did, and then you think about how Williams waits for you then unleashes hell, well he certainly has a great chance imo. Both top fighters,
I can't believe people haven't mentioned how well Marquez fared here. Fck this i'm picking Williams. Oh and i know all about Pacquiao being another animal now, with the improvements and all.
Ike by a ko. He was essentially a bugger man and an alltime great at lightweight, whereas Manny is an alltime great but not as experienced at light and above w/ the kind of comp. Williams had.:hat
