I'm a Klitshcko fan (take a look at my avatar) no doubt, but I'll be rooting for Haye. Why? Because it has to be. I still don't believe that Wlad has that drive. The drive to be the best. The drive to be the unified champ. I don't see the fire in his eyes. I don't see the hunger that drives those to become "legends". I see it in David Haye's eyes. Yea, he talks ****, but he's got that fire. He wants to fight. Anyone, anytime and any place. What ever it takes to be the best, to be the greatest. I will be cheering for David. I hope that he can pull this monumental task off. I believe that Wlad's time has come and gone. Boxing needs David Haye. He could very well be the one that fires up this stagnate Division. Who the F-- cares if he's not an American champ. Those days are long gone. This is a new era. What ever is best for boxing, is what I say and I believe that's David Haye.
All you have to do is make a quick search of my past posts on the Klitchko's, and they will speak for themselves. As for your "insightful" post, go back to your gay porn hunting sites. This isn't the place for pussies like you.
I'm not a fan of either, but I agree - the HW division needs a spark and I don't think that either Klitschko or Povetkin can provide it. We need a big talking big punching guy like Haye to shake it up. I'll be rooting for David. If he wins, and Vitali tries to avenge Wlad's loss, get ready for the HW fight of the decade.....
fire in the eyes and the words are very clear so beat it just beat it . I dont think you can measure a fighter by assuming you can see fire and how hungry they look . I cant wait for the fight because I think Haye will force Wlad to use more than his jab .
Bottom line...the best thing for the division is to have the best fighter win! I'm a klitschko fan and i believe he will win...he is the superior fighter however if Haye wins it will be good for boxing. if wlad wins it will be good for boxing...on one hand you have an established champ like wlad beating a young up and coming challenger, if it's a blow out aka 1st-3rd round knock out he will have exposed him and cleaned out the division...if it's a battle and a good fight we will have seen a great fight and either a rematch or haye will fight a few more to get another shot...if haye wins we will have a rematch and another great fight...all scenarios benefit boxing....Bottom line BTW Wlad in 4!
True, but confidence in ones self can be the difference between a "good" fighter and "great" fighter. It's a quality that drives us to excel. That was the point I was trying to make. Regardless though, good post.
I see what you mean, but how can Wlad be hungry anymore, he's been the champ and best heavyweight for years now. Besides, the klitschkos were never fighters of the "i do this to feed my family" mold. Boxing is something that both guys would do fine without, which in my opinion is why they never were accepted as true champs. There called sissies, because they arent the type of guy who will die in the ring, the kind of attiture someone like brewster has
I disagree that they would be fine with out . just cause they are intelligent people with other things going on in their lives you say this? besides having motivation to feed your family is the worse motivation as a fighter . once a fighter is a little famous , he makes enough money , so every one is feed then the boxer is just over feeding . I would amagine the brothers motivations to be H Champions together plus their motivation to be better than the other will win out over any hunger due to the lack of food any day . I wont even get started on your die in the ring attiture .
Good point. However, while I do agree that Wlad has been at the top of the division, I can't fully agree with him being the best. Fights with than champ Lennox Lewis never materialized. That was a fight that should have happened. I feel that he could have made more noise, like Haye's has, to get that fight. He's been known to be mentally fragile. The closest we ever saw Lewis and Wlad get to each other was in "Ocean's 11". True they could do with out boxing. But compare him to his older brother. Vitali is driven. You can see that fire in his eyes, and in his attitude. Vitali is driven by the hunger of being the best. Man I would love to see Wlad have that same hunger his older brother has. As gifted as he (Wlad) is, good lord, I couldn't even imagine. (hehe)
Hunger ?, hes had what two HW fights so far, he seems to think because he won the CW title he had a right to skip past everyone and fight the main men, fair play for having the balls to stick to that plan, but surley if he wanted to fight, he would have taken on some more of the top 10 men ?, me thinks at the back of his mind he knows he has a punchers chance and thats it, so why not get as much money as he can just in case.
