No he wouldn't. Come on be serious now. He's got the speed, power and skill to cause either of 'em a lot of problems.
Will he be able to handle their power?, I'm sure one punch won't end either Wladimir or Vitali, it's Haye who's in danger of being taken out with one solid punch.
Haye is 6 3" but he fights stooped down, i am not sure if he can cause much damage. The klits are too big man. Maybe if he pulls off a paul williams v quintana style of upset. I for one hope that haye can do it, he is exiting and what we need.
I think he could conceviably do well for a while, but would ultimately be stopped. Question marks are his power and pumnch resistance upon moving up.
1.) If you had to pick a fighter with the characteristics to trouble Vitali Klitschko it would probably be a David Haye. Haye is 6'3'' so he's not small, he's got tremendous speed, and he can hit hard. Vitali's last 3 opponents have just been plodders offering little, if any offense making it easy for him to potshot and get out of the way. Haye would give more angles and through sheer speed, would be able to put himself in a better position to land although the one thing that I can't see holding up against Vitali is Haye's chin so the whole thing becomes academic. 2.) Do you really think Haye can remain standing after eating one of Wladimir's straight right hands? Haye's fast but so is Wladimir. This fight could potentially come down to whoever lands first but given Wladimir's boxing skills, I think he would counteract anything Haye tries to do and make him pay. Believe me, Povetkin's got a better chance of winning than Haye does and once again, it's because of Haye's chin.
David Haye could lose to Barrett, his chin is total ****. And he is no where near as good as he thinks he is, or his fans think he is.If little Fragomeni had any power he would of laid out Haye. He couldn't keep Fragomeni off. Sam Peter would ****ing murder him. Even Haye admits he can't afford to get hit like Tye Fields was against Barrett or he will end up like Fields.
"Will he be able to handle their power" - I don't know, but I have a feeling his chin isn't as bad as a lot of people think, and he's certainly got bollocks. More importantly though I think Haye will have the skill, speed and general ring acumen to avoid the majority of Klitschko's blows while raining in plenty of his own.
Good points mate, I think he'd far better against Vilati than Wlad. Haye's potentially got the power (even moving up) to gain the respect from both. The chin is the key though how will Haye's chin hold up when hit flush? I've got a strong feeling that once either of them hurt Haye then it's matter of survival for him. I think that moment will come approaching the mid-rounds, whilst the fight is still fairly close on the cards.
haye is taking the shortcut to a title fight. instead of earning his spot of the #1 challenger by beating a couple of ten guys, instead he tries to get into the klitschko's head, which is quite smart and economic. i think the klits are already a bit pissed, so he partly succeeded.
His chin is a serious matter because he admitted to it and made it clear he doesn't plan to get caught there with things being over, let's face, Haye used to get rocked/hurt as an amateur, even stopped numerous times. This becomes more serious when he wants murderous punches in Wladimir Klitschko and Vitali Klitschko as opponents knowing that those guys will land on him and land big. He definitely has the power, skill and speed to give anyone hell, not really sure about the stamina but Wladimir lacks a bit there too so he's safe. That's why a fight with Wladimir is more intriguing and why he wants it first, we still need to see how he does against Barrett to make a better decision.
