There's lots of rumors concerning Fedor's next opponent. But there's one in particular that i really don't like at all... 1rst...There's a possibility for him to fight against Ricardo Arona. (very probable since arona is now also part of the same organisation) 2nd a fight with couture... (but it's doubtful that it would happen on NYE...maybe in 2008 3rd a fight vs Yoshida. There's been some rumors about a fighter who was apparently sponsored by dreamstage entertainment. Yoshida could be the one. 4rth...Ken shamrock I ****ing swear...if that's fedor's next opponent...I'm not even ranking him in the top 10 because that's just downright ******ed 5 Barnett But josh's case is a big " ? " because dana is not interested and hates this guy....Also , Josh hasn't signed with K1's heros yet...Maybe he'll end up in M1..maybe not. With couture who's (at the moment) out of the picture... the UFC is left with Nogueira , Kongo , Vera , Herring , Sylvia , Gonzaga , Crocop , Werdum , Arlovski... Who will be their next champ though ? Imagine the situation..if Nogueira beats Kongo..it'll be for the belt. That'll make him the new # 1 of the organisation. But i'll tell you something though... if that happens...and if fedor really fights shamrock..then i don't give a ****. I won't even rank him in the top 10... I don't care if he defeated Nogueira 10 000 times already...doesn't change ****. Right now , fedor's best option would be to either fight Arona at m1 or to accept CFC's million dollar offer for a fight vs Couture. (but then again...Dana would try to do something against this from ever happening)
Really? Who the **** would even consider this fight? What was Dan Severn busy? Does anyone know what kind of contract Nog has with UFC? It would be great if M-1 gets the Couture/Fedor fight, then after winning the UFC title, Nog leaves to fight the winner Dana would have a ****ing heart-attack!
Ken Shamrock is seen as the prototype for the "American Fighter" in Russia. They will probably be making Fedor's fight for a Russian audience, not an American, so it would make sense from a business standpoint. To us though, it makes me want to ram a pencil into my eye.
Go ask someone on the street to name a UFC fighter, and they will say either Ken Shamrock or Tito Ortiz. Overseas it's no different.
Nah no way. Couture and Liddell are far more famous, as is Hughes and GSP. Ortiz and Shamrock are old news.
If I see Shamrock-Fedor on any news website im going to flip the **** out the only fight I want Shamrock in is a Don Frye rematch just because the 1st bout was so close.
So, basically Fedor can stay active, beat a nobody and lose his #1 spot while Randy Couture is out in Africa making a film... Damn, let the hate flow though you.
I remember Joe Son getting punched in the balls numerous times and stopped , in one of the early UFC's before there was any rules or weight classes.
