I'm sure that this loss will inspire Hopkins to spend millions on genealogical research into Calzaghe's family to prove that he has a black ancestor, thereby proving the fact that indeed he did not allow a white boy to beat him.

But serioulsy, you know it saddens me when people make stupid comments like Hopkins, because it proves to me that the great majority of people on this planet truly remain ignorant. We are all the same genetically. You can be black, white, brown, red, yellow, orange, and all the other colors, but genetically we are all the same with the same exact genes in our programing. Yes, some genes are turned off and some are turned off, and this is what ultimately determines our final features. But again, we all have the potential to be exactly the same.
We are all humans. We all live on the same planet. We all lose when we allow racism to enter the picture.

 

Plus Calzaghe is an Italian name, and back in the day the Moors, invading from North Africa, raped everything in sight down in Sicily and the south of Italy (Denis Hopper said so in "True Romance", so it must be true.)
