We already went through this topic yesterday in a thread that probably contained over 5 pages of responses. To put it bluntly, I think we need to forget about it. If Hopkins doesn't think that he'll ever lose to a white boy then let the man think whatever he wants to think. Holmes made a similar statement once, and later on his comeback lost to Brian Nelson. In either case, it really doesn't make a difference.

Isn't it obvious that Hopkins is just trying to anger people? Maybe he figures if he gets enough Europeans to hate him, that he'll sell out Yankee Stadium and get his 2 million PPV buys...who knows?

Point is...Hopkins is partners with De La Hoya (a Mexican-American) and partners with Richard Schaefer (a white Jewish man), I doubt he's racist...
