I'll never understand why the hardest hitter in the heavyweight division is scared of Whyte and AJ :| two fighters that have been stopped before by lesser punchers . Why is Wilder so terrified of fighting them....

You'd figure with the way AJ was dropped by Klitschko and Whyte was dropped by Parker back then that Wilder would of smiied and taken these fights right away. Not to mention Povetkin stopping Whyte and Ruiz stopping Joshua.

Bro this guy ducked AJ who was stopped by Ruiz and Whyte who was stopped by Povetkin

Not sure if he is afraid but I'm sure Wilder has a realistic understanding of his own limitations and chin. It also takes Wilder multiple rounds to land that right hand.

How many fights have you seen Wilder completely outboxed to come back late rounds with a knockout? Perhaps he fears getting slept by AJ/Whyte before the knockout comes, where as Fury was supposedly a pillow fist when Wilder cherry picked him.

When Helenius lands anything, including a jab, I will be interested to see if Wilder has any punch resistance left.

Wilder is not scared of anyone before a fight. He usually gets scared during the fight when he notices his rudimental fundamentals and his right hand dont work.

I’ve always wondered this too. Wilder has a good chance at stopping everyone in the division, don’t know why he wasted so much time with bums.

I think Wilder hasn't the IQ to be scared
I doubt he even spends any time watching other boxers either
& certainly doesn't make decisions on opponents

Wilder is what he is. Stupid but fearless. Ferocious puncher. Will fight to the end. Will fight anyone they tell him to fight.

truth is he has managers making the decisions
they protected him to a large extent
& they also never bowed to the ego of Eddie Hearn.
which probably explains why Whyte never got a shot

These guys live in a fiction. Put facts in front of their faces, they'll put their fingers in their ears and scream, 'La-la-la, I'm not listening!' Best to let them be.

Cause he is good at landing his noney shot on bums and truck drivers??? Cause his power is overrated??? Or cause his legs are worst than chicken one??? And the moment he gets clip from big puncher he will go down big time????
His record is total s****. There is a reason for that.

If only Whyte could avoid or block the uppercut. With something other than his ginormous head that is.

There are still some great fights out there for Wilder and his career is not over yet, just have to see where the remainder of his career takes him.

He ducked Whyte for a while or was advised against fighting him and we know why now as Whyte would of not gave him the room he likes to fight and would of had a good chance to beat him it would of been a 50-50 fight a few years ago now even if wilder is only 75% I think he stops Whyte this would of been a great comeback fight for him but still seems to be too much of a risk for his handlers instead they are going for someone who is tailor made for him in Helenius who is upright and stands off

I would say more Ortiz level who for me is himself overrated due to the level of opposition.
But Whyte was always more of a risk to Wilder due to his style he would of backed Wilder up and been in his face and as we now know that is the worst style for Wilder
