I'll say it...Valuev is underrated.

    Excuse me? :blood
I guess you're talking about the 2009 version of Ali. Or maybe you mean Leila Ali? Any other 50+ year olds you'd like Valuev to lose to?

Same way I see it. It'd be nice if some of the other HW talent bothered to show the pride and respect for the sport to come into a fight in shape. His age and the wear and tear of fighting with that much size has led to a decline of what he was a few years ago.

I also think the whole sideshow freak thing people associate with him is pretty shitty, and over time, I think it might've had a real effect on him in the ring. It seems like he's actually tried to avoid overpowering and brutalizing his opponents and has taken to boxing more at least partially to avoid fitting that stereotype.

I don't think it was sarcasm. He was disputing sdsfinest classifying Valuev as a C- fighter.

    Very cheap shot,thunder!

A security guard offended his wife in St-Petersbourg-Valuev knocked him down. So what?

He is no thug,no bigmouth, but a very humble and quiet human being.
He isnt the best heavy out there.Thats for sure, but taking revenge on a bum who offended his wife doesnt turn him into an unpleasant human being all of sudden in my opinion.

And to say my opinion about the theme in discussion, I think that Niko has done exactly what was necessary to win the fights. Nobody says that the fights must be spectacular. The point is to win. He begins from a different start than all the other boxers because of his height. So he doesn't have to make the same effort. I admit that if he wasn't that tall he wouldn't even be a boxer , but that is just a scenario. The reality is that he has 50/51! :good
