I'll tell you one thing, Froch at 168 would have marked GGG

Ya, like GGG could ever move like Hopkins or Martinez.

I always favored Froch in that match-up myself.

Groves isn't more skilled than Golovkin, explosive yes for about 4 rounds then fades badly and a guy who lost every time he stepped up.

Groves gets stopped brutally like Matthysse did to that African chap.....what was his name again?

Pavlik would have been in serious trouble with GGG at 160.

Old man Hopkins no less. The Bhop that fought Trinidad ****ing annihilates Pavlik.

I'll tell you another thing, Froch could have had that fight but he suddenly found better things to do, like washing his hair and counting his fingers.

Too big, too strong....**** they're interested better retire.

Then once in retirement his excuses for the fight not happening changed weekly.

Froch by his own admission was simply a brute who's game depended on having THAT chin. GGG has enough technical proficiency to win on points. Man how fast people hop off the hype train after a loss...

If GGG is overrated then why did Canelo have so much trouble with this older and fading version?

I think Froch was good and I think Golovkin was/is good. Not sure why it seems to be either or with a lot of posters. Personally I think Froch was unlucky that he fought in the 12 round era as over 15 he would of been very difficult to beat indeed.

Froch preferred to get a nose job and retire than collect another $8 million to fight GGG.

He had already retired in his mind before the Groves rematch. It was one send off fight against Chavez Jr in Vegas or nothing.
Golovkin wasn't earning him any $8 on PPV back then. Golovkin couldn't generate half that headlining his own PPV at 60 bucks a pop

GGG would have KTFO Froch who was slow as hell and easy to tag.
