    August 24th @ Traktor Sport Palace in Chelyabinsk, as co-main event to Kovalev vs. Yarde in a blockbuster international co-promotion between Kathy Duva, German Titov and Frank Warren. The silver cruiserweight WBC title will be on the line, 1st defense of Makabu.

    Both men last fought on Titov's card last month. Makabu knocked out Dmitry Kudryashov, and Papin knocked out Alexandru Jur. Makabu is rated #2 by the WBC and #12 by the WBO & WBA. Papin is only rated by the lone org, ironically, from whose top 15 his opponent is absent... IBF #14.
