Third round was pretty even. Fields did get hurt but had banked enough of it. The fourth was clearly Makabu's...and he will probably knock Fields out, it looks like.
Round 5 Makabu is coming forward and swiping out with the right hook, not bothering to get in range first. Fields is ducking it and threshing out at the body of Makabu. Fields is caught with a right hook while ducking and pawing out a counter jab as he straightens and backs up. BIG OVERHAND LEFT BY MAKABU!! ON THE WIDE OPEN JAW, FIELDS NEVER SAW IT COMING!! FIELDS DOWN VIA DELAYED REACTION AFTER TEETERING FOR A MOMENT!! No point in a count. KO5!
you already could see in round three that this could happen. fields was hurt in round three and finally KOed in 5.
Yeah. Makabu started very slow but once Fields tasted his punch late in the 3rd you could see the whole complexion of the match change.
There's another Cruiserweight from Congo (the Republic of) who's good too. His perf against Kucher wasn't an upset.
Junior sparks out Black Zack. :nono It would be great fun to watch, though. A fireworks display for as long as it lasted. (and Mwekassa would have a puncher's chance, especially if Makabu started this slow again...)
Sweet left hand, set up nicely with the jab and hook. Fields was so focused on defending it that he lost track of the rear hand...and paid a nasty price.
