Round 2

Cieślak hurts Makabu with some body shots crowding in. Makabu attempts to shoulder-roll but winds up eating a flush line drive right from a partial crouch, with Cieślak gyrating his full body-weight into the punch with a full rotation of his shoulder. Cieślak not rushing in even though Makabu has reacted poorly now to a few of his offensive sequences. Makabu still throwing straight flurries at the body, making Cieślak wary. Makabu now starts coming forward and digging some hard right jabs on the belt line, making the crowd roar. Cieślak is able to skip in reverse to force Makabu to lunge and only graze his sides, while countering with stiff jabs and right uppercuts.

Rd 2 - 10-9 Cieslak 20-18 Cieslak. More of the same. Cieslak really investing in the body shots appeared to buzz Makabu once. Makabu a little better in the 2nd half.

 

I made it to my neighborhood branch of the library, btw - so I am now logged onto a PC doing split-screen viewing & RBR-typing, while my phone is recording to upload the fight later (albeit with very low volume, as...well, library )

Round 3

Cieślak is shooting his right hand out from the middle of his chest into the point of Makabu's chin, using it to range-find and set his aim, like a jab, then winging BIG torqued left hooks into the rib cage while sagging his knees and taking a bracing diagonal step out and to his left. Cieślak putting a beating on Makabu and backing him up, walking through his southpaw jabs and flurries - AND THEY STOP THE ****ING ROUND A MINUTE PREMATURELY. TWO MINUTE ROUND FOR NO REASON EXCEPT THE LOCAL GUY MIGHT HAVE BEEN ABOUT TO GET KTFO. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!? TIMEKEEPER ON THE ILUNGA PAYROLL FA`SHO!!!

Round 4

Cieślak is batting Makabu's right glove into his face with a quick left jab, using it like a pool cue-ball and Makabu's gob as the corner pocket. Cieślak is standing up tall on the outside, jogging in place after parrying or slipping a few lunging Makabu straights, and then whips a long shallow right uppercut into the center of Makabu's diaphragm. Cieślak getting very loose and relaxed in there, while Makabu is a giant rigid bundle of nerves. HUGE RABBIT PUNCH BY MAKABU as they are stepping around each other. Cieślak hurt, and hit with another rabbit punch and DOWN! The venue lights start blinking on and off! Cieślak disoriented! Makabu pounces after Cieślak beats the count (a count?!?!? IT WAS A RABBIT PUNCH, REF!). Makabu landing body combos on a still not fully recovered Cieślak.
