Makabu comes out jabbing, Cieslak looking for and landing right hooks to the head, both going to the body, Cieslak pushes Makabu half way across the ring, Makabu gets him on the ropes and lands a combo. Makabu oovershoots, Cieslak capitalizes lands big uppercut. Makabu gets him on the ropes lands a few bod shots, Cieslak lands another uppercut and a left hook to the head. Cieslak loading up landing bombs in between Makabu's flurries to the body. Cieslak looking tired. Makabu opening up unloading, Cieslak still landing counters, although not enough.

Cieslak reasserted himself in the 9th, loading up ad landing big right hooks to the head throughout. Makabu got in a few straight lefts to the face, Cieslak closed well landed several left hooks to the head late.
