    You honestly think Makabu would have been able to continue after that?
    He got KOd. There was no need for a count.

    Makabu was treated by the doctors for about five minutes after the KO and I think he may have been given oxygen too. Laughable for anyone to suggest it was premature.

    No ones first instinct is to take a knee when hurt. Most tend to cover up into a bad position. This is why you see fighters turn their backs(Josesito vs Martinez) rather than taking a knee.

    Yes, Cotto and Judah took a knee but they both got beat up so bad that their ancestors felt it.

    Makabu was hurt, didn't know what to do and got KTFO.
