You know thats interesting. We did discuss some stuff on this board and somehow it ended up on 24/7. Am I the only one who notices that? It's almost like Mayweather was talking DIRECTLY to the forum.

 

I don't know if he thinks everyone is out to get him, but Floyd does have to make sure some nut job doesn't walk in and blow his head off! Anyone who wants to get at Floyd, and cause him harm because he talks **** is sick in the head.

 

I noticed that too, especially from Mosley. Mosley brought up that Mayweather's security look like they are on steroids in an interview the day after it was discussed on here.

A few other examples too.

I'm sure both those guys (and most fighters) read these boards regularly.

 

No it doesn't. As long he trains hard, and gives it his all in the ring, he's doing just fine by the sport. I don't even know why you guys pay so much attention to what this guy says. Just a couple of days ago he said he's fighting to enhance his legacy. Last week, ironically, he was criticised for saying he's better than Ali and Robinson. Only someone who pays attention to their legacy would make a statement like this. This guy is all over the place and will say whatever just to get a rise out of people. All I know is that he's training hard and is about to fight one of the best fighters in the sport in a fight that everyone wants to see. As long as he's doing that, I don't give a damn about all the crazy, contradictary statements he makes.

Fair enough in my opinion. Even if he is fighting for the cheques, his legacy will be cemented as a consequence of it. A by-product of fighting the best fighters for large amounts.

 

It doesn't change the fact that Floyd's money cannot protect him. A bunch of scary looking guys is not real security. Real security means that situation I'm hearing about with him being questioned by the police about a shootout would NEVER have happened. Real security means everybody he comes into contact with would be backround checked thoroughly.

This should have NEVER have happened. If he has good security there is no way in hell a situation like this could have happened. So the only conclusion is that this guy isn't Mayweathers friend and someone who looks like Mayweather was with the guy during the shooting. If somehow it actually was Mayweather in this incident then his security SUCKS.
