Saying that he is fighting Mosley now, which will enhance his legacy. If he fights Pac or another great fighter next, that will enhance his legacy. So even if he is truely (and not trash talk) just fighting for cheques, he is actually enhancing his legacy at the same time.

Floyd, like every other boxer fights for money first. None of these guys would be fighting if there was no money involved. Sugar Ray Robinson openly acknowledged that he only fought for money too, so what does that say about him? People in everyday life work for money, because they have to.

Legacy doesn't mean anything when it's all said and done. Legacy won't pay bills or take care of your family. He'll never be considered the greatest ever and some idiots will never give him any credit, so why worry about living up to what others want from you? Chasing after something that haters won't give him credit for would be stupid. He's an ATG and that's good enough and now he's at a stage in his CAREER where he is fighting for money.

 

Like when he dissed Mosley for leaving his father. Floyd would never do that to Floyd sr.
