lmfao...ya floyd should come right out of retirement and make a real smart move by fighting a very active PW..that makes no business sense...if he lost that than that would take away from both the mosley and pac fight..

u gotta remember this sport is a business too...fighting Marquez for a comeback fight is pretty good....

also in re PW..he was already tied up when floyd came back...that fight couldn't have been made cuz PW was involved with Winky at that time and was campaigning at 160 trying to get KP:good

:lol:just ****ing with you man, there's a ton of legitimate reasons why he couldn't fight williams. BUT man, that would have been more impressive

it was interesting though, every name i tried to think of OTHER than williams didn't really bring anything...cotto had been knocked out, clottey is a joke, tim bradley had done nothing really to earn it yet

the only thing that would have impressed the hell out of me would be a move up to take out pavlik but that woulda been suicidal as a comeback

For all the haters that are quoting Floyd, really, just take a look at yourselves. The man is constantly on your mind. His talking is working as planned. You guys really pay attention even though you think you don't want to. You love him and don't know how to express it.

don't read too much into people. people pay attention not only to people they love but people they hate. like him or not to, he's the third most famous boxer in the world so people are bound to talk about him

ssdd. It's always the same with Floyd, one of the most unlikeable athletes in sporting history.

That makes you a 2bit con artist. As soon as you get discovered (maybe this post outed you), your career is over.

I can't even be bothered reading this thread but i think its quite fair to say that Sugar Ray Robinson is considered the best fighter of all time ... yes?

Well its common knowledge that Robinson didnt even like fighting and he only done it for money, he said publicly many times that he didnt love boxing, he only did it because he was good at it,

I dont say SRR getting crucified on any boxing forums though

He'll regret it enough himself when he's older. Look at Larry Holmes - rich but it still eats him up that he never fought/beat Foreman or broke Marciano's record. Some things money can't buy, but history is forever.
