Well Jones stepped up to HW to beat Ruiz so Calzaghe could have done the same but possibly more. I'm not saying he could have beaten a prime Tyson, but Lennox Lewis struggled with Bruno's jab for half a fight before he gassed... Calzaghe doesn't gas... it's food for thought certainly.

I think Calzaghe gets hit too much to have made the cut at HW, and he doesn't have the power to make the transition. A true HW would walk through his flurries and put a KO shot square on his chin.

    No it isn't.

If Joe Cazaghe moved up to Heavyweight he'd get demolished by any top 10 guy. The size difference is too much.

And against Lennox Lewis? The greatest Heavyweight of the last 25 years? KTFO!

How can anyone with knowledge of the sport be a fan of Joe or any other sham that Fwank has been putting up for years? Joe has been overprotected. he should make an entrance with the Britney Spears song describing his career. To clarify, that is 'Overprotected' and not 'Oops I did it again' after he pulls out of another fight with a fake hand injury.

I like Leilani as well but that is a lame excuse.

I think Joe always wanted the name Roy Jones on his resume but has waited until he's confident of victory.

I pissed with Joe for saying he'l have his farewell fight in the US for "Buisness reasons". He's made his money so how about having it in Wales for his fans who have supported him from the start.

Not a chance in hell. JC has a fukin grannite chin. He will also probably outwork the fuk out of RJJ. Now I love Jones and think that he is one of the most gifted boxers of the modern era, but he is ageing, lost his aura of invincibility and confidence and just wont be able to keep up with the welshman. JC should have this fight, add jones to the notches on his belt and retire with his legacy in tact.

Fighters with granite chins don't end up on the canvas in the first round. Especially against men not known for their power.

As for anyone arguing a case for JC beating Lewis! I've heard it all now, I really have. Joe hasn't beaten anyone of Lewis' class that was his own size, suggesting he could jump to heavyweight and outbox Lennox is the single most absurd comment I have read on these pages - ******ed.
