Well said Philla.... its pretty sad when 'boxing fans' want ospend more time shitting on Dawson, then prasing Pascal. Pascal fought a very good fight, and quite simply seemed to want it more. I was happy for him afterwards and it will be interesting how this all plays out.

but i will say, that on the p4p topic, that i didnt take Dawson out of my top 10 p4p because he lost to Pascal, i took him out for how he lost to him. While he didnt get dominated by any stretch, he was very complacent at times, and seemed content at the way the fight was going when he was obviously losing.... there were people who watched it wondering if he was throwing the fight (which i told them no way) because of how passive he was being at times... he did not look at all like a p4p fighter, and while i think that they should be given some breaks here and there because they are bound to have an off night sometime, this was a very important fight for Dawson.

    Just IMO.

Because someone mentioned you don't know boxing if you don't watch Chad Dawson! I don't know why someone has to impose death by boredom.

Dawson's punches are short with no leverage and most of the time he slaps his punches. He seems unable to pull his punches back with no follow through. Which explainss why he has fast hands. But he is slow footed too.

Typical slick fighter with no power. Bores me to death watching him. Any fighter who contends with a goal of just finishing the 12 rounds is a cheat for me.

But most of all, he is way overhyped!

Dwyer stated that he is in the league with Mayweather and Pacquiao! His punch dynamics is all wrong. If he would just pull his punches back instead of flapping them in the front like a hummingbird, he actually has power.

He did not have an off night! That is how he fights. Pascal fought a perfect fight. Against Adamek who does not rush or jump or lunge, he was perfect. But because he is not fleetfooted and with very little head movement, Pascal was able to connect with his lunging punches. Even the one that Adamek connected in the 10th round that had Dawson groggy was almost a lunging punch.

Pascal won the fight, he did what he had to do. Dawson will have his chance to prove whatever he can do differently in the rematch.

    Props to Pascal.

As far as the rematch goes,i see Dawson winning.

There is nothing else Pascal can do in the rematch that he didnt already do the first time.

There is alot more Dawson can do in the rematch that he didnt do the first time.

If the headbutt never happened, there are alot of people including me that feel the fight was turning in Dawson's favor.Chad clearly would have won the 11th round big,and the 12th is anybodys guess but i would say there would have been more of the same in the 12th like in the 11th.Did i say that right...lol

Again,Pascal came to win and he deserves credit.
