I have not concluded that it was a KD. My conclusion is that it was an according-to-Hoyle low blow, but not an intentional, egregious one a-la Golata-Bowe and therefore I would have been ok with it had the ref started the count.

You already know what I think happens after that and unless I misunderstood you (which is entirely possible) we're in agreement. So, imo, nobody was victimized here. Not that home cooking didn't potentially exist, but that what there was of it never manifested or had no impact on the fight.

Liked the post not necessarily out of agreement, but because it's a tough question and goes to the expectations of the people that pay the freight and what kind of sport are we wanting to be fans of? What guidance should the paying public give to the sport? Not an easy question, imo.

Question: The rule is that, if the navel cannot be seen, then the belt line is legal, correct?
And since Usyk's navel was very high above his belt line, the blow was clearly low, correct?

That a Dubois was able to put Usyk down is a real blow to Usyk image anyways. As he is the fact that Usyk did fight Dubois in the first place.

Idk man, I've seen the punch multiple times and looked at each frame before and after the punch landed. That was borderline, it could of hit the top of the cup which sent a vibration to his genitals which is technically low.

I was conducting an investigation into the topic. I'm fascinated by many topics that challenge people's world view - including Flat Earth and the Mandela Effect. Trying to label me a flat earther because I'm interested in the topic is like trying to label an investigator of a murder investigation a "murderer". The point of my flat earth related discussions are to get answers to the questions many people have about our world.

That question IS - does it hurt more to be punched on an outie belly button than it does an innie? I can hear the shocked silence.

For the record, I have an extremely aesthetic innie - no piercings, it’s pretty enough and, equally as important, I don’t like pain. I have an acutely sensitive navel.

Is this a physical attribute worthy of a poll amongst members - are you an outie or an innie, how does it feel and how do you feel about it in general?

In terms of aesthetics, physiology and surrounding psychology, it is an oft neglected body part.

This isn’t an attempt to body shame. We’re all God’s children and beautiful in our own way.
