Golden Boy clearly trying to rip GGG off / lowball him, but given his ndifficulties in finding a suitable opponent, I still think that come September 2017 GGG should probably take $10 million if it's either that or no fight, simply because it's more money and a better name than any other possibility @160.

Golovkin like a lot of these new fighters have an overinflated since if self worth, GGG is neither popular enough nor accomplished enough to make 5Mil for a fight let alone turn down 10.
People keep saying this "Biggest Fight" crap like it means anything in the current landscape a fight doing 600k can be the "Biggest Fight" in boxing doesn't mean it's a 100mil fight get serious neither GG or Canelo is going to make that type of dough or reach that level.

how do i know golovkin wont move up for any serious fight? because he ducked feather fisted ward at 168 and golovkin has contradicted what sanchez has said on a couple of occasions....sanchez once said he thought 168 would be gggs best weight...then ggg turns around and says "im 160lber...thats where i belong"...which tells me he doenst have a ton of confidence in moving up.....degale would be a tough fight for him...heck even andre dirrell, the faded version, would be a tough out for golovkin...i think a prime dirrell would beat him easily......ggg floats the names of degale...zurdo...has mentioned hopkins even ....but fights no one.....hes a bottom feeder
