Why are most the same people shifting from abusing/hating Hatton to now abusing/hating Kahn. There personalities are totally different, and so are there boxing styles. I really can't think what they have in common - they are two different sorts.
They are both popular and it (apparently) gives you credibility as a 'hardcore boxing fan' to show a little hate.
Neither are popular in Iceland so that does not apply to me I don't hate Khan though. I thought he was cool as ice til this, but its only one mistake. Everybody makes a mistake, even China Hand Joe Don't get me started on Hatton
What exactly was his mistake? You misquoted him and the original quote didnt really imply he thinks he's as good a fighter naz and tyson ect but that hes happy that he is as well known as them and is fighting on the same stage as they are.
Aye? I don't see what he has done is so bad. He just has stated that he is flatered to be alongside those names on sky. Boxers always big themselves up anyway - its sort of accepted. For example.... this quote in 2003 :yep "Obviously Lewis is bigger than me," "But he's not better than me. I honestly believe I'm the best boxer in Britain." Kahn's statements are not in that league yet.
And which complete ***** made that statement? Did you have to alter that quote to make it so absurd?:huh
I'm honestly () not sure who said it, but for ANY British boxer to say that in 2003 would make him a real muppet.....:good
Lol... no not Khan. I've just checked the records at that time - as I honestly wasn't aware of them. Lewis had defeated Tyson on his last outing, and the other guy was coming off a Tocker Podwill win; seriously. I'm not joking. Anyway its not that bad - the point is, is that they all spout junk. I'm Just saying don't be so harsh on Khan, perhaps. This content is protected
Interesting that he said this about a fight with prime Roy: "I could probably give Jones a tough fight, probably the best fight he's ever had," said Calzaghe. "But I know my capabilities and unless I got paid the crown jewels I wouldn't want to risk it."
