I'm a hatton fan and i wish Hatton would return to his old self, but I doubt it. Pacman would win this figth with a stoppage around the 10th due to some bad cuts and a possible KO.

    But Hatton's a big 140lber...
Manny going from 106 to 140 and beating the best there would be incredible, like Mayweather starting at 130 and beating the best Middleweight which is Kelly Pavlik.....:!:

A prime Hatton would be too strong for Manny. But is Ricky still in his prime?

How do you think Manny will respond to a much bigger man leaning on him for 12 rounds?

ah, diaz tried to do that.... remember, diaz is a natural 140-lber having half of his fights in that weight class.

Hatton walk around at a much higher weight and is a more skilled clincher

why? does hatton fight at his walk around weight? that means he'll weigh around 200 at fightime... he can fight as a heavyweight then...

I love the way people make these bold statements without any actual analysis.

I strongly dislike Hatton and would love to see Pac starch him, this would even further show that Floyd's win over Hatton meant nothing, but it won't happen. Hatton will smother him and he's too strong, this means Pac's power(if it's there at 140) will be diminished big and he has to fight Hatton in close and deal with the strength and power of Hatton while backing up, where he's proven ineffective.

Please, anybody tell me how Pac does a damn thing against Hatton?:good

You always get ppl jumping on the bandwagon after a fight, its inevitable.

You basically say "Pacman would win for sure". How can you say that as no one knows the future. I do have Pacman as my p4p no1, me personally it's a tough call between him and JC but i thought his performance last night was very good and he showed great energy as usualy and was a beauty of a hook.

But to move up to 140 to fight a big Hatton, he will go in as underdog. I'm not saying he couldn't win the fight, that scenario might well occur and for me it wouldn't be a massive suprise. But i still feel if this fight was to happen, Hatton would be a big favourite, his bigger and he would take alot more of Pacmans shots than Pacman could take Hattons shots.

Pac is small and a few good body shots might be the end of. Either way would love for this fight to happen, it potentially great match up (styles wise) and a match up that the fans no doubt (including me) would want.

Hatton will rehydrate to well above 140 on fight night. Pacman will probably still be under 140. And, yes, walk around weight does make a difference. Particularly in the clinch & lean game.

Btw, why do you STRONGLY dislike Hatton??

I am curious as how can ppl hate boxers they don't even know. Hell i'm not a big fan for FM but i don't strongly dislike him as i respect the fact that he gets in the ring and puts his health and well being on the line so we as fans can enjoy. And with Hatton and his style that is more so true.
Also while me not happy that FM is not fighting Cotto and feel that will impact his legacy, that is his choice at the end of the day and one he'll have to live with, when ppl question him about it in years to come. That don't mean i hate the fella, i don't know him.
