The problem is these theories hold a lot of weight, at least in Floyd's case. Any boxing fan who follows the sport and not just an athlete can see that the evidence seems to suggest that, at the very least, Floyd was using an illegal amount of saline in a unauthorized place (at his home) to gain some sort of advantage.

With the release of previous T/E ratio results, insistence on using USADA which doesn't catch dopers and covered up the one that they did catch, "vampire facials" and what we know about using saline to mask PED use - any reasonable person would say Floyd most probably was using some sort of illegal PED.

Denying this is similar to believing Mr Evan Fields of 794 Evander, Fairfield, Ga. 30213 is not a PED cheat because he hasn't tested positive.

 

The arguments do hold weight, I agree. But all we know is that it's something suspicious at best, nothing specific. We know for a fact he broke the rules and used too much, but 'why' is pure speculation. Until it is investigated, which it should be, we can't say definitively he was or was not using PEDs.

You can add "IMO", or "allegedly", or even an asterisk if it suits you. But you can't say definitively he was.

 

I'll just say this. If you watch Pacquiaos career fight by fight he it's awesome. It was fight after fight after fight of nothing but elite fighters. From 2001-2010 he went off on boxing.

 

You can't say he definitely wasn't either. Shall we just omit any "IMO"s, "allegedly"s and asterisks for a huge question mark?
