I'm a huge Pac fan - but I'm so sad to say I can't see him beating Shane.

Why is it fair though? Pacquiao look like the same fighter at 147 pounds when he destroyed De la hoya. If Pacquiao like i said is the true number 1 p4p then fight the fighter at their weight class to make history? I'll tell you this Marquez got way more guts then Pacquiao does since Marquez is fighting Mayweather at 144 or 145 pounds in which Mayweather won't be weight drain cause he mostly stay around 140 + for 4 or 5 years and look at Mayweather body size it's no problem with Mayweather while it be a huge problem for Mosley.

 

I don't recall Mayweather calling out smaller guys. Marquez was the one that called him out. This is the main reason why I don't have a problem with Floyd fighting Marquez at 144 or even 147...Marquez is the one calling him out. That is, permitting Floyd considers himself a WelterWeight now. After the fact, he better damn well make sure he fights some top WelterWeights before he retires.

If Pacquiao called out Mosley or Cotto, then I'd like to definitely see Pacquiao fight at 147. However, if Mosley is the one calling out Pacquiao and is clearly stating he's willing to make 144, then I thin you ought to shut your lil mouth.

 

of all the people arguing that pac won't fight mosley at 147, it's ironic and laughable that it was the floydboys who are doing the cheerleading.

 

pac is the true p4p champ even without fighting mosley.

 

and why? mosley wants the fight at catchweight. pac and mosley would come in their professionally. why would pac take criticism and abuse from you if mosley doesn't makes weight?

 

You didn't watch Pacquiao vs De la hoya i presume huh? If you didn't then please watch it and you tell me again if a fight moving up is way more dangerous then a fight that is close over 35 is draining himself to make at a lower weight?

 

I hope Marquez does beat Mayweather cause he will be the true number 1 p4p. Marquez is facing real challenges while Pacquiao really hasn't if people starting to open their eyes.

Had he fought Mosley at 147 and won, we'd be hearing about how he only was going after old fighters. If people want to hate for the sake of hating, that's their choice and it's their loss that they can't appreciate greatness happening right in front of 'em. If Pac KO'd a grizzly bear, I'm certain there's still people that wouldn't give him credit because the grizzly bear had no resume.

This is gonna be a great fight. It's more fun to sit back and get geeked for it than to worry about some hater's checklist they're waiting to bust out. :thumbsup

Because of the size differential, it's going to be easy to do it to Shane should he win, if that's what gets people's rocks off. Doesn't mean it still wouldn't be a hell of a win for him.

Bull**** PBF wanted Mosley! I love how you leave out the fact it was Shane who turned down PBF on HBO saying he wanted to go on vacation with his family and get his tooth fixed....typical. Not the mention the landscape at 147 then was much different than it is now. PBF never said he planed to campaign at 147 his whole reason going there was to chase Zab and get big money fights, him wining the linear championship there against Baldo was just icing on the ****ing cake.
Spin it however you want it but wanting to fight guys who will have to drain is a joke. PBF went up to fight Oscar at 154 I guess he should have made the fight at 150 and make Oscar cut weight becasue he never fought at 154 before and isn't a real junior middleweight.:-(

 

Even if Mosley weigh way more then 147 pounds on fight night, he will still feel the effect of his body by killing himself to make weight. Look at Morales for example, he kill himself badly to make the weight vs Pacquiao in the rematch but he weigh in way more then 135 pounds on fight night but Pacquiao took advantage and tko Morales.
