I'm a huge Pac fan - but I'm so sad to say I can't see him beating Shane.

Shane wants this fight at any price. He's old and he wants a huge paycheck. Thats the one and only reason Shane's prepared to cut weight. He knows he'll struggle mightily, but its financially worthwhile

Team Pac know this and are taking advantage of it

How ever much they make him cut by, we'll see the end result in who Shane is in the ring. If he's a corpse, then **** Pac and his team

I never thought Hatton was really good in the first place. Only blind people like you believe he was a great fighter. Imo i think Collazo and Mayweather ruined Hatton chin. Pacquiao just finish it.

This is just a nice excuse for the possibility that is very real...the possibility that PAC wins not b/c of weight or any other excuses...but b/c PAC will just be the better fighter. As he was against Rick, Hatton, MAB, EM and JMM. People need to stop trying to rationalize why PAC is so great and except what he does inside the ring. Even if its a close fight...if PAC wins everyone will still say Shane lost b/c of "This or that".

let's see: casamayor or oscar, juan diaz or hatton, floyd or mosley?

only the floyd fight for marquez is better and it's not that much since mosley is the 147 king as of the present.

Well there wouldn't be "this or that" if Pacquiao beats Mosley at 147 pounds in Mosley weight class. Sorry but for me i ain't giving Pacquiao credit if Mosley comes in on fight night looking like a fighter to kill himself to make weight.

i put my own argument why small fighter fighting bigger fighters is as dangerous if not more than fighting drain weight.

and why? pac and his team just wants to fight in october. shane wants to fight him and is willing to have a catch weight. and pac is choosing the most dangerous opponent out there. haters would be haters.

Exactly. So make the fight at 147 where Shane wont run the risk of corpsing himself

Ah....my misguide fellow poster. When you are on top....there will ALWAYS be "this or that" being slung at you. Floyd, DLH, Nard, Jones Jr, ALI even Robinson had the same problems. It comes with the territory of being top dog.

If the fight was at 147 and PAC dominated Shane would be "shot". How conveient, right? You don't have to give PAC credit should he win. There are many that didn't give PAC credit for his victories over EM, MAB, JMM, Hatton and DLH. It won't change facts and facts are PAC is a great fighter who not only fights the best but in most cases dominates.

Are you serious? Ok so in your case a weight drain De la hoya is better then past his prime but not shot and not weight drain that was coming off a big win by tko in Casamayor?

Juan Diaz who was coming off a big win by easily beating a dangerous puncher in Katsidis is better then Hatton who was coming off a win over fealther fister Paulie and it took him 11th round to finish him off? Is this the same Hatton who was struggling vs fighters like Urango and was hurt by Laz of all people after was tko badly by Mayweather? You think Hatton chin was still the same when he fought Pacquiao?

Floyd ain't going to be weight drain and most people still fell he's the number 1 p4p while Mosley is 2 years to 40 years will have to cut 3 or 4 pounds to make weight just but i assume Mosley will be a better win for Pacquiao then Marquez is if he beats Mayweather right?
