This topic will resurrect time and again UNLESS, JMM's resume is interesting enough to stand on it's own. Meaning, comparable to the
two others icons mab and morales...

At the moment the only way to make it appear for JMM's resume at par with the other two icons is a W against pac..Twice he failed to get the W..

    So far JMM GREATEST ACHIEVEMENTS

    A) Win over prime MAB (2nd to the last fight of his long career!)
    B) Win over ULTRA prime Casa (last fight of his long career!)
    C) Draw with PAC ( thank the judge for his error or stupidity!) :good

There is a chance for him to have an INTERESTING resume.

    BEAT the likes of HATTON!

If Pac had the guts to go 12lbs over his last fight why can't JMM go 5lbs heavier?

Unless, Hatton will be ducking him or is it the other way around?!

Meantime, JMM fans think about the A,B and C choices that you have.
Which is his actual GREATEST ACHIEVEMNENT!?

    Totally agree!:good

In conclusion : JMM is not, or far away in Pac level right now and should not be in P4P no. 2 list. His popularity rides more in Pac's shadow. If ever he did not have Pac in his ledger, he is 2nd best to Campbell or J. Diaz.

:D If you dissect JMM, all FANs will have a field day describing JMM

    1) best technically giftet fighter
    2) intelligent fighter
    3) best counter puncher
    4) technically sound fighter
    5) great defensive figher

    etc...etc...

all those are mere descriptions...NOW lets talk about what are the things that he has actually done/achievemnet...

Simple... GO BACK to the three choices (A,B and C) I earlier wrote.

An impressive win over HATTON will defenitely put some premium on his resume.

Since there is not much to talk about jmm's actual achievements/resume. I suggest JMM's fans just have a field day glorifying his description!

Too bad but they can't help talk about there supposedly win over pac coz if THEY DON'T DO THAT. They will only be talking about the WINS over PRIME mab and ULTRA prime CASA!!!! :hey

    Sometimes, REALITY SUCKS! :hi:

i agree, pac did not fought a great gameplan in that fight. he was sloppy at times and was reluctant to throw and attack in some critical moments.
jmm fought at his very best and wouldn't produce a much better fight.

point is, pac could surpass his performance at the second fight, marquez wouldn't

Pac is the biggest name in his resume, and not once did he beat him.
He is in the number 2 position because of how close he can compete with Pac. But their resume are so different that its easy to give Pac the pole position.
Take Pac away from Jmm's resume and what do you have? Take away Jmm from Pac's resume? Pac still wins.

I can tell you this. This is a silly thought. The thought of ranking a fighter, while taking a man off of his resume is so comical lol:rofl
