JMM (1993) has more fights in his career than Manny(1995). Manny started late, but as to the quality of opposition he met, only Pac(2x) and Barrera(1x) were epical. He never give a damn respect for a rematch w/ hometowner C.John.

Now take away Pac and Barrera in his resume. How do you gauge JMM?

Well, how would you gauge PAc if he didn't have Morales and Barrera. My mimor ppint was this. You can't take fighters off of resumes when judging fighters. When you did this, that is when I asked you to take out the big 3. I can judge both fighters and their comp without removing 1 name from their resumes.

Lucero and Diaz were bums. Larios was smaller than Pac, how good was Sasakul when PAc bet him in like his 12th fight? What names does Sasakul have on his resume besides Pac? Didn't PAc get ko'd twice after that at 112. The rest I can ride with. Good post. Now I'm going to do J.M.M's resume.

yes. maybe lucero or julio. both were never been stopped before.
if you will check pac's opponents (boxrec), a lot of them were never stopped before (including morales and barrera) until they meet him.

Sasakul was defending the WBC flyweight title for the 6th time as his 35th fight...Sasakul was a good win. agreed on Lucero and Larios...Diaz was a good win...Pac moved up for that. But you can disregard him if you like.
Julio was also a good win.

    2. Al Kotey Norwood,
    3. Peden,
    4.Medina,
    5.Gainer,
    6.PAc,
    7.Salido,
    8. Polo,
    9.John,

Guys, I'd take Salido and Kotey off and ball them up and throw them in the gobbage lol. The rest I can ride with. I leave Polo on their because some thought he beat Gainer. You guys can judge these fighters for yourselves...

lucero is a mexican prospect before pac destroyed him and was never the same again. diaz, as much as people here are trying to put him down is a lightweight champion and was stopped only once before and that was by jr. welter in holt.

sasakul is the top flyweight then (aside from mark johnson) after avenging his defeat from arbachakov. pac went to his opponents territory and snatched the lineal belt by stopping sasakul at age 19.

pac was ko'ed only once after he got the belt from sasakul. and that was due to pac's severe dehydration when he cannot longer make the 112 limit because he was growing fast at age 20. the only other ko was when he was fighting in the local scene in the philippines.

jmm's opponent could have the easier name-recall since jmm is fighting all his life at featherweight whereas pac started at a much lower weight where people don't tend to know who are the top dogs.

but pac made himself known to the western boxing fans by moving-up in weight and fighting all the top-dogs at featherweight in barrera-marquez-morales one after the other.

    wow, he didn't know sasakul.

sasakul was the lineal flyweight champ at the time pac beat him. your list were no names, we could very well list the likes of hussein, solis, velasquez.
larios was one of the hottest rivals of pac back when he was at superbantam. at that weight, larios was always bigger until pac moved up while larios continued to drain himself to make 122.

i agree that was low class from jmm going to pacs country and saying he lost, but that was rather balsy. since when have judges done a great job, never. i won't take anything from pacman one of my favs, but i don't give a nut hair about the judge making a mistake if it wasn't for the 3 kd's manny lost that fight. a draw is fair. the 2nd one manny lost. a rubbermatch has to be the most anticipated fight in the sport. whether manny wins or jmm wins will be great for the sport and one thing for sure they won't disappoint

Jorge was undefeated when Pac fought him. He has 65% KO ratio. He's also younger and taller. He just recently won the eliminator fight for the SF WBA crown.
