A lot of of people, like myself, thought JMM won intially, but that's because most people expected Pac to dominate. He didn't dominate, and it was close, so it seemed like JMM got the short end of the stick.

Pac won this. I also really didn't like how JMM was bitching (and still is) after the fight. He lost a bit of respect from me, especially when I read that he went to Pac's country and ambushed Pac in front of his people on TV and saying he lost that fight.

Oh, and as far as JMM being p4p #1 or #2, even if you take away both the pac fights, he hasn't done much. Wins over Rocky Juarez, and way past it Barrera and even more so Casamayor wouldn't have gotten anyone else there. Re-watch his fights with Chris John and Jaca and JMM looks pretty average. As much as I like watching JMM and his skills, I think Joe C and Vazquez have accomplished a little more.

Lucero was a bum who got exposed. Sasakul was a good fighter but he lacked names on his resume. Arbachakov and PAc are the only names on his resume. He is overrated by PAc fans. Many fighters were dehydrated and won so that isn't an excuse. He was ko'd twice as a young man. He has done well since.

sasakul was the lineal flyweight champ at the time pac beat him. your list were no names, we could very well list the likes of hussein, solis, velasquez.
larios was one of the hottest rivals of pac back when he was at superbantam. at that weight, larios was always bigger until pac moved up while larios continued to drain himself to make 122.

There aren't many that know of Sasakul, just like there are boxers today that you never even saw fight. Pac's fans just name him because he was a champ, but he lost to Pac in his 12th fight.

pac destroyed lucero that is why he was never the same again. sasakul was the lineal holder that time and pac is forced to fight him in his home turf of thailand which is equivalent to germany of asia when it comes to cooking home-town decisions.

many fighters were dehydrated that won, so why did guzman pulled-out of the fight because of dehydration?
