I can not stop watching the Pacman Hatton fight. Ive neevr seen anything so devastating in my life. He was awesome, and that 3rd knockdown was brutal. Hats off to him, I nevere in a million years expected the fight to pan out like that in such fashion

Pacman was perfect and its going to take something phenomenal to beat him at the moment. No one Mannys size can beat him, it would take some one much bigger and much stronger to beat him, thats the only way I can see it.

I agree that it was astonishing.

If anything it's a rare example of a spectacular KO being underrated on the forum.

Well Hatton isn't Duran, that's the first thing that needs to be said.

On the other hand Duran wasn't a light-middleweight.

That being said, Hearns and Duran are two of the best fighters to ever have pulled them on so historically, Pacquiao-Hatton isn't going to compare. But I do say that is comparable from a technical point of view and in terms of pure achievment of the fighter doing punching it is also comparable.

Great knockout. Pacquiao may appear invincible now but I assure you that he can be beaten. Do you think that he would be able to steamroll Mayweather or Mosely?

what really made my jaw drop was not necessarily the ko (b/c my jaw was already on the ground by then)...but rather how completely outclassed and outgunned ricky was.

when the bell rang to end the first round i think i was able to get out the words "holy **** its already over" in one of those moments that makes you jump off the couch but your not standing up...ya know...just kinda have your ass lifted off the couch and your hands on your knees and you lower jaw on the coffee table??

Duran had no business fighting at 154, he was the best lightweight of all time...Hearns KO was more spectacular though given what Duran could handle back in those days. Hatton was ready to be knocked out at that point in the fight, and frankly, that point in his career...

Of course he can be beaten, everyone is beatable. He's on a roll right now and despite what his detractors say, he takes on big challenges. Time and time again he proves people wrong.

Whoever says he'll steamroll Mayweather and Mosley are idiots, kind of similar to the idiots who claim Pac is a cherrypicker, they're just on different sides of the fence. You just need to be smart enough to know that these idiots can't be taken seriously.
