    Styles make fights. And so Dawson athletically would beat Hopkins although I wasn't that impressed. For someone who is taller tangier and fluid. Hopkins actually made it look like a routine loss. When kovalev did it, Hopkins was genes rely flummoxed and I think scared.

    I'll say this now a 45 Hopkins was no different to a 50yr Hopkins.


    Physically he could be beat anyway but loose, but mentally never.

    And so we haven't seen bhop fight since kovalev beat his ass.

    Bhop would love to be world champion in his 50s.

    Hopkins admits kovalev is a dangerous mutha****er. Propaganda should not get in you way, Hopkins is brilliant j don't know if mentally he has it.

    Is bet Hopkins could ad Stevenson, Beterbiev and fonfara.

    I'm a Mayweather fan too like lepinthehood thread States. I also like everyone else, no matter how I critique them I love that they are drawing attention to the sport. I'm just tired of 140-160 riding on the back of Floyd Mayweather Jr. It's like some of these fighters have no goals of their own but to ride the wave if a 40 yr old fighter that took all 20 years to get where he is today.

    I liked that GGG was craving a path of his own until he started focusing on Floyd like everyone else is. Now Abel and HBO cant go 1 find without saying his name.

    Amir Khan is ready to put his life on the line, not because he is brave, but because Floyd told him to "get a couple of wins and I might come back and fight you", that's all it took for Khan to go kamikaze.

    The entire 154 division just stopped fighting altogether and Arum and HBO are trying to force Crawford to be the next Floyd. Boxing needs to get its **** together.

    Hopkins defensive retreat made Kovalev not want to reach for big shots. That's the one reason why Kovalev didn't punch as much. Hopkins was making sure Kovalev would have to reach. It doesn't win you decisions but it will help you not get KTFO.:yep It showed patience in Kovalev. Many other fighters would have been swinging wildly at Hopkins!:deal
