I have watched this fight 4 times and scored it the same everytime.

    JMM vs Pac 2

    1 10-9 JMM
    2 10-9 JMM
    3 10-8 Pac
    4 10-9 Pac
    5 10-9 JMM
    6 10-9 JMM
    7 10-9 Pac
    8 10-9 JMM
    9 10-9 Pac
    10 10-9 Pac
    11 10-9 JMM
    12 10-9 JMM

    JMM 114-113 Pac

    Anyone else scored it?

I want and need to see a 3rd fight between these 2.

But if you leave the scoring system aside, and just think about the fight: Pac put JMM on the floor three times! JMM put Pac on the floor 0 times. If you ask someone in the street whether putting someone down in a fight means much or not, they might say it means you definitely won! Would a scoring system in professional fighting be so strange if the winner was declared the guy who floored the other guy down, with a legitimate bona-fide knockdown? I think not.

If you're talking to me: it's not, but the 10point scoring system is arbitrary. A fight is a fight, and instinctively, most people would say that knocking someone down is worth more than looking a bit better than the other guy in two 3 minute intervals. Why is a KD scored 10-8 and not 10-7? Or 10-6? There can be no conclusive argument to prove that 10-8 is more appropriate than 10-7, say. To me, personally, though, a KD means a hell of a lot - more than looking a bit stronger in two 3 minute intervals.

Scoring is so subjective though and everyones opinion differs. For example, some people who scored it for JMM may have given round 1 or 12 to Pac, yet some people who scored it for Pac may have given either of those 2 rounds to JMM. 2 people can agree JMM won, yet score different rounds differently, mix their scorecards together and Pac may vey well have won 7 rounds to 5.

The fight was close, Pac scored the KD, the fight was awarded to him. Its done and over with. JMM IMO is the toughest fight out there for Pac, because of his stamina and countering skills.

He has cherry picked in the past is what i meant, not Peter, but his resume stinks like manure.

Watch his next fight will probably be against Mike Tyson or Evander Holyfield, he is looking for those ripe cherrys.

Anyway this thread is about Pac-JMM.

I can go with this. Say you are in a fight with someone, and they are taking you to the woodshed for that round. All of sudden, boom you knock the other guy down. Do you know that some people socre the round 10-9 still??/ Incredible. You beat a guy up good for almost a round, and then get knocked down cleanly. Barrera and Marquez. Marquez had a great round, and was whipping on Barrera, but Barrera sucked it up and knocked Marquez down. I think, and I'm not sure, Marquez only lost the round 10-9. I had Marquez winning cleanly anyway, but that is sometimes the thought process. I had Marquez winning fight 2 by 2 points 115-113. I knew he wouldn't get the win though. It is Pac's time now. HBO, Arum and boxing says you have to beat our man down to win. We need another cash cow, and until then, you won't get the win lol...jmo.
