I'm a pro boxer; any questions about pro boxing let me know?

    With the amateurs I meant if someone wanted to compete and be an able boxer, not a world beater, but a decent amateur. Not even to go to pros, just for the pictures in the album and the medals on the wall.

    Like on a novice level (10-15 fights at best) or intermediate (fight at nationals?) is there a real difference between the late 20s guys and the teenagers, ability wise?

    I don't think so- most of the guys I train are older! Kids just have more time to practice!

    Sorry, I should have stated that I was referring to Pros with a few fights. Guys way past the basics.

    Go back to the fundamentals regularly anyway!

    viril hunter beliecves shadow boxing is the most important part of boxing training and I am inclined to agree when it is odne properly. andre ward does at least 12 rounds a day apparently.

    That makes sense. Boxing is movement and balance at its core

    Absolutely not - loads of examples of late starters doing well

    Just the way it works pal- promoters help but it's the fighters job right now
