It's about time they stopped protecting Martinez and his padded record. The guy's 36/37 and he's just started fighting anyone in the top 10!

They weren't protecting him. He wanted the big fights for awhile now. Only guys he could get in that period of time were Barker and Macklin.

:lol: Both boxers should be on 24 lock down down after the weigh in, rules are, either eat the burger or eat nothing.

To gain 25 pounds in 24 hours is impossible. So Chavez might have to eat this hamberger in the dressing room before making his way to the ring.:rofl

I can't think of a fight that I've been more excited for in ages

  7. I can see it happening like Martinez - Pavlik

The thing that worries me is all the pull chavez has behind the scenes

IF Chavez managed to pull off the win, would all the Sergio fans give him credit? Or would it be the size, gloves, testing excuses....or even Sergio's age?

When Jr. win's they will come up with every possible excuse there is in the book.
(If you read their posts they kinda already are)

I won't believe this fight is happening until they are both in the ring... I see a mystery injury on the horizon for Chavez jr.

Well the guy isn't actually wrong

He is 160 at weigh in

    and 180/181/182 fight night

    Thats 20+ lbs

Maybe Chavez does a whole months worth of GOMAD in one night

Chavez jr won't be the same after this fight, because he's already been in alot of wars and taking alot of punishment and i think martinez will land close to or more then 400+ punches on chavez, because he's such a easy target.Yea chavez is relentless, but he comes in head first and wing punches, expect martinez to land alot of uppercuts also.

Jesus Christ people let HBO and their dick sucking commentating **** their head up. How come two fights ago Chavez jr was a protected chump and now all of a sudden hes a HUGE threat? Oh, wait....cuz he beat Andy Lee in a ring the size of an outhouse? PLEASE!!!

Martinez is going to pound this little ****. Martinez has more power than Lee, Rubio, and Chavez jr.'s ENTIRE RESUME put together.
