I'm afraid for Hopkins against Tavoris Cloud

CLoud is going to beat BHop into retirement.
I really wish he didn't take this fight.

 

The Hopkins of the two Pascal fights would beat Cloud - who's style plays right into his hands.

 

styles make fights anythin who knew anythin would know this Hopkins had no chance against Dawson, Hopkins will school cloud so would Dawson so comparin them isnt really smart

 

I expect Cloud to overwhelm the old man who is reduced to spoiling, his legs are gone and i think if Pascal was ahead after 6 and gassed that Cloud wont gas and will continue to wobble or keep Hopkins off balance

of course Hopkins may have tricks left but ive said since Pascal 2 that he is done and i havent seen anything in either Dawson fight to change that opinion

i do think Cloud is one of the hardest punchers at the weight and can hold his own toe to toe

Campillo troubled Cloud for different reasons than Hopkins is capable of

 

not a horrible fight but man.. i cant count b hop out. cloud has never really impressed me all that much. he looked pretty good vs johnson and the knockout vs mack wasnt nething special. an deff lost the fight vs campillo .. cloud had that one dominant round n that was it .

i really hope cloud goes hard for the ko

I give Hopkins a 10% chance of winning, and that 10% includes faking an injury and winning a bull**** decisioin, faking an injury and getting Cloud DQ'd, etc. He has virtually no chance of winning a legitimate fight...

 

I think he was Cuban ( I could be wrong though),and yes, Campillo was robbed against Cloud. Bad, bad decision.:-(

Ahh come on, man. Can't hold Hopkins' antics against him all the time. We were saying similar things in the lead up to the Pavlik and Pascal fights. Not saying the above definitely won't happen (you just don't know with the old man ), but there's every chance the complete opposite can happen, especially with someone like Cloud who fights only one way.

 

Spanish. And yes, that was one of the worst robberies I have ever seen. I had Cloud winning two or three rounds the most. The rest Campillo took with ease.

 

If the red doesn't allow excessive holding, Quitkins will get stopped.

 

Guys, i'm gonna go out on a limb here and make a CRAZY prediction!

I predict.......Cloud wins about 8 rounds close but clear. Hopkins wins 4 rounds in very big fashion. Cloud gets a UD and Hopkins bitches about it to Kellerman.

 

This really is a dangerous fight for Hopkins. Cloud has 19 KOes in 24 fights!
....but at the end of the day Hopkins will win a hardfought fight using his experience.
