Wlad slap jabbing a scared Thompson for 6 rounds and then finally throws a right and Thompson goes down from what looks to be not even a great power punch. Ref stops the fight. :wall

I hope I am wrong and hope to God, Thompson comes out AGGRESSIVE and goes after Wlad and lets his hands go. If he gets caught by Wlad, sofuccinbe it. But if another opponent sits back and gets jabbed to death I am going to go nuts. His only chance is to pressure Wlad and throw punches.

I still don't see any reason why HBO doesn't throw another fight on the tail end of this. If you want to make something a PPV, You gotta sell it. If they added Cotto/Mosley or Margarito/Cintron to the end of it, maybe the Wlad fans who don't pay attention to the lower weight classes get interested and buy the ppv.

There's no reason for them to use up 2 hrs of TV time for a fight that's bound to go 30 minutes.

Sultan was scared of Wlad from the opening bell and ran the whole fight. Thompson will come forward and land shots but will be knocked out by the eighth.

There may be a lot of cautious boxing and jabbing by Wlad this Saturday, but this thing is going to end in a knockout. Wlad with catch this guy with a right in the 7th or 8th. Thompson may make it to his feet by 8 or 9, but he'll be finished.

I expect a stoppage, and I expect it within 7 rounds.

Thompson fight in a style that should make for an entertaining fight, even if it's most likely to be a painful one for him.

Wlad for his part will be desperate to dispell the bad vibes from the Ibragimov stinker, and won't be happy with going for a point decision. I don't expect reckless abandon from him but I do think he'll be looking to make a powerful statement.

Ibragimov did not want to fight the guy crouched the whole fight and leaned back.

To me even if Thompson does not want to engage Wlad *should* be able to put him away in under 6 rounds.

Thompson is tall but he is slow as hell and very flat footed.

As far as skill and experience is concerned Wlad is light years ahead of this guy.

We have not seen anyone pressure Wlad lately I assume because they are afraid of the right hand missle but some of these guys should just go for broke from the start and pressure Wlad and see what happens.

I just want to see a good Heavyweight fight and let the best man win.

The notion that Wlad is a boring fighter based off his last bout is ridiculous to me...yeah I know people have this theory that he is uber cautious against southpaws since the Sanders debacle but I believe he will disspell his notion on Saturday..

He will win and win well within 10 rounds for me.

Add to that the fact Wlad's fighting in front of his (adopted hometown) Hamburg crowd for the first time after 8 long years, he'll try to impress rather sooner than later, I'm confident.
