I'm Amazed How So Many Think Cintron Was "Acting" or Purposely Jumped Out Of The Ring

There is no way he faked that, anybody with 2 eyes could see he got tangled/tackled unintentionally by Paul...

I feel bad for both fighters, but lampley who was sitting ring side, said he hurt his back on some tech equipment that was sitting ring side....

One judge even had Cintron winning all 4 rounds....he was fighting a good fight....Why would he fake that?...

Paul Williams, who I'm a fan of, has some severe defensive flaws....Most feared man in boxing? Please....

    Thoughts ?

He should be a high diver rather than a boxer.
Sorry mate, for me personaly, it looks like intentionaly dives through the ropes.

The "jump" was clearly him trying to get through the ropes clean as he stumbled forward. Easy to sit back and moan. He was wearing boxing gloves. He couldn't just grab the ropes. As soon as he rolled on the table, he grabbed his neck. Hope he is OK.

the guy made it in BETWEEN the ropes, completely CLEARED it. I MEAN LIKE DEAD ACCURATE, CLEAN BETWEEN THE ROPES. IS THAT ****ING POSSIBLE??? The ropes are there for a reason., he could have used them to stop his "momentum". The dude is a JOKE man. Then he had the energy to start punching his hands in the ambulance where 45 seconds ago you couldn't "move"????

Get real man PLEASE... I am so upset it's not even funny. What a waste of my ****ing time.

Too bad. Since he didn't break his neck he will take a lot of **** here. The doctor wasn't about to let him go back in if he possibly had a neck injury.

My thoughts are this and you can disagree with me if you want..

When I saw it live...I thought he jumped. When I watched the replay I still thought he jumped. When someone on here posted a youtube video of it, I still felt he jumped.

I have a hard time believing that there was no way he couldn't stay in the ring and worse yet, there's no way he couldn't have continued after his fall.

Williams is overrated as a boxer at this point. He's always the favorite but ends up going toe to toe in a disadavntage and gets favors from judges in his fights, like in the Martinez fight...Williams getting the victory was a joke...more people had it 4-0 Cintron than 4-0 Williams.

Sorry he looks like he was actually trying to dive through the ropes as fast as he could, like if he was doing some stuntman ****.

I agreed, the way he fell thru the ropes, was so awkward as well, which makes me believe it was not staged or faked....there was a huge tv monitor that he clipped with his back :-(

It was all reaction. First he had to contend with the ropes. Easy to judge after the fact but in truth, life is filled with momentary reactions that we wish we had over because we THINK we would/could do it differently if given a second chance. People really think in that circumstance he could have 'schemed' that quickly? I thought he was doing better than Williams so why would he "want out"?

I know  This is no doubt going to have Paul's biggest fans convinced that even the fighters who agree to fight him will avoid him once they feel the punishment by jumping out of the ring. "He's the most feared man since Hearns but people still fought Hearns!"

"Nobody ever jumped out of the ring to avoid Hearns!"

Hell, if you look closely, williams was on the defensive, when the "accident" happened...Paul ducked, Cintron tried to throw a counter, the feet get tangled up, paul goes down, kermit is going down, and instead of having room to fall or trip on the ropes, he lands clean the **** out of the ring:lol:

That is what I saw, there was no point in that sequence where cintron had room on the canvas that could have braced his fall...
