Just because I dont find him entertaining doesnt mean I dont know the sport. I know it quite well. In my eyes and in the eyes of many, he's BORING!

I just hope the fight and event is great. I don't want to see a fight that entertains only the 5 percent hardcore technical boxing fan. If that is what boxing fans want then there is really no point in broadcasting boxing at all is it? Broadcasters should not be wasting millions of dollars if the viewership will be like 100 posters from ESB (and I am one of those).

No ****ing cheap hometown scorecards. Hey Ward, you can afford a passport. You have the balls to take a punch. Pretty sure the balls require to travel is smaller. Oakland is a shitty city anyway. At least bring it to Vegas.

I think both will be great champions. Obviously, Ward would benefit American boxing scene more and Froch would boost Brit scene more.

    Looking forward...

Agreed. I really like Froch (blast from the past - willing to fight anybody etc) but talent-wise Ward takes the nod.

Ward is 60-40 favorite to win the final in S6 in books (althought I' m wishing for Froch to win).

I like the idea of giving fighters respect, but with Ward it is impossible.

One punch, headbutt, clinch. Wait for the ref to break it up.

    Repeat.

He was hugely upset after the fight with Abraham, because the ref did not allow hom to get another spoil-the-fight-victory. Ward is, with all his talent and all his skill, a guy that cheats his way to the victory, and it is undbearable to watch.

Yes Reg, sure he's talented but he's only travelled 350 miles in the Super Six against Froch's 5000+. Ward needs to man up and fight dangerous fighters in THEIR own country if he wants respect

Froch is a gentleman, warrior and scholar, Ward is a god bothering cheating hypejob.

Does it matter how good he is though? I understand that argument if you're talking about who will win but if you're talking about who you want me win, I'm struggling to see why it's a valid point.

If the final is in Oakland ill go mad.

I think thats the main reason ive grown to dislike Ward, plus his dirty tactics and "Son of God' antics.

Thats a big possibility but what makes it interesting is Froch's heart, will and toughness... you just never know, it's gonna be fun.

And he still won a lopsided decision, unlike Ricky Hatton who got his ass knocked out after the ref didn't allow him to cheat against Mayweather. That's the type of talent Ward is. He can still dominate good opposition even when he's forced to go to plan B early on.

Listen to yourself here. The man is a professional fighter who is dominating world class opposition. Despite this, he needs to travel more to be respected according to you. This of course is absolutely ridiculous. He's not Sven Ottke getting bogus decisions against setups. He's winning lopsided decisions against world class comp. The venue is not winning him these fights.

It's all good, you don't have to root for boxers from your country. This ain't the olympics. You root for who you like.
