People bought floyds ppvs to see him lose and he never did. Him being a POS outside the ring has nothing to do with his skills inside the ring.

Yup Khan has never been KO'd before, that fight was a fearful display of punching power.

GGG was the mandatory challenger. Canelo didn't want to fight his mandatory and ran off to another weight division didn't he?

Ah I see, so because its 5 times more than GGG ever got he should accept $15m in a $100m fight? Is that your logic?

If Canelo was serious about making a fight he would offer a % purse split. Say 70% for Canelo 30% for GGG. That'd be a serious offer.

Why do you morons keep saying its a 100 million dollar fight? Wtf does that mean, Htf do you figure its a 100 million dollar fight..

Please explain to me using logic, math, science, how this fight does more than 1 million.

So if I come to you and offer you a fixed fee and insinuate "This is your only chance, your're garbage and not the A side". What's your reaction?

I picked up the number from an article quoting guys from GGG + Canelo's teams. You're right, its probably marketing fluff but they brought up this number, not me.

Yeah but you have these Goons always talking about $100 million this and $100 million that. Even if the fight was to generate that in revenue the fighters only get their fixed purses. The pot isn't split 85-15 in favor of Canelo. Everybody else has to get paid too.

As of yet nobody has presented a good answer as to why a % based offer hasn't been made. In fact I'm not sure that question has ever been responded to at all on these boards. If the fight doesn't generate the money Golovkin thinks it will then it's only he who loses out by not taking a flat offer.
