SIZE and POWER people this is what makes this fight interesting, soon i will read here how Canelo can box Floyd...he can not he has size and power advantage unless he uses this completely he can not win!!!

 

His size wont mean anything if he cant catch his target. The fact that he fights in spots, does not have tremendous handspeed, and does not do the physical brawling thing means that he will have very little to offer Mayweather.

 

well, Canelo's hands are deceptively fast, remember that I think Floyd probably wins a competitive decision.. Floyd would take capitalize on Canelo's lack of activity which was pretty obvious in the Trout fight.

Canelo's one shot to win would be to pressure him and bully him on the ropes, even then Floyd will probably counter him and cover up, but he has no chance otherwise

Canelo's size, power, patience and sneaky hand speed would help him destroy most boxers from 147-160. The only guys this wouldn't work on very well, instead would benefit them, would be Mayweather, Quillin and Lara. I honestly think Martinez gets knocked out by Canelo, and I have been thinking that even before the Murray fight. I thought Canelo would knock Martinez out right after the Macklin fight, and round 12th of the Chavez Jr fight and the whole Murray fight showed Martinez could be broken down with size, power, and pressure which Canelo has.

 

But he stopped Rhodes, Lopez, Cintron, knocked down Trout for the first time in his pro career. Maybe we should not make fun of Canelo not being able to stop M. Hatton and instead give credit to Matt.
