Hear ye! hear ye! Here's another thread about Pac and guys around him. Here's hoping some of the issues can be put to rest.

First things first, Will Pac be P4P # 1 in the near future? Sure. By the way, we're talking about the consensus/majority opinion P4P list. Don't count on it to happen right now. PBF has a vise-like grip to that position. Whether Pac has fought better opposition lately, PBF still has his resume clogged with a lot of name fighters, is still undefeated, and ultimately more talented and skilled than Pac. Just wait for two years down the road. With PBF seemingly reluctant to take on all comers and is taking much more time off boxing, he'll definitely slide down while Pac is griding the lightweight division. So you Pac boys better not rush it, take your time.

And this talk about JMM not getting a rematch. Well, why wouldn't JMM be so eager to have an immediate one? He's 34. He won't get another opportunity to earn big bucks against anyone except Pac regardless of how difficult the task might be. And you have to admit, his style will always give Pac problems. IMHO, the last fight with Pac might have drained all the proverbial starch out of him. He ain't gonna last long anymore. JMM probably feels this is the case too. He'd better lose it to someone who also belong at the top of the food chain, not with guys who are threats but carries penny purses. Here's to you Juan, a quote you can find almost anywhere: "Fall In Line."

Oh yeah, to those guys who insists that JMM should be higher than Pac at P4P, well let's put it this way, Morales did beat Pac and there was no question who won it. Why can't he? If he's indeed P4P material that he is, he should've displayed all those wonderful skills we keep hearing that will school Pac. Instead, he ended up sour when a close fight didn't go his way. Hey Juan, I recognize such a wonderful fighter you are. Grow a pair will ya, and at least compliment a guy who takes you to the limit.

Lastly, If Pac beat Casa at 135, he did indeed beat someone who is old. But take it from another perspective. Casa is old the way B-Hop is old. Old but great, not old and shot/washed-up. Besides, if you lash out the question "who is the best at 135 today", you'll probably end up having more people saying it's Casa. So Pac beating him is an achievement already.

Then probably, we'll see what to do with JMM afterwards.

I guess it would be fair to rate Paq #1 pfp if he beat Casa, and if Mayweather continues to avoid Cotto. But if Floyd takes on Cotto and wins, he regains the crown. But I think Floyd would rather indulge in his sensual roll around with Big Blow, and dance around with Fishnets DelaHoya, than indulge in a real fight.

Yeah beating Casa and Diaz would get him my #1 provided PBF is beaten by Cotto at some stage and Joe C doesnt conquer B-Hop and Pavlik.

If PBF remains inactive then I suppose Pac would leapfrog over him at some stage. But really - cant see PBF getting beat anyway

Not sure about Campbell - would like to see Campbell v Katsidis rather than Campbell v Pac.
