Last time I've checked, Mosley has never lost to a Mexican, not even a half mexican as well. The closest to reaching the feat was Oscar yet he still lost the rematch on points.

And check this, the last time people talked about Mosley getting beheaded was against Margo, who was coming off a win over a Puerto Rican. Guess what guy was the win Canelo is coming off from?

Mosley by upset KO and calls out Pac for a rematch at 154. :D:lol:

I'll be happy for Shane to win, but I acknowledge it would be bad for boxing for Shane to win over a young superstar in the making. We gon see.....

However, I wouldn't mind seeing him go head-to-head with Cotto again.

    1. Mosley is deader than a beached whale
    2. Mosley would have to KO 'Canelo' twice to even get a MD
    3. GBP would Never have made this fight with their budding cash cow had they not been 100% certain of (1.)

First off let me say this: Canelo doesn't fight like a Damn typical Mexican fighter. Secondly, Mosely is DONE. He was a great fighter at the lighter weights but he is old and will be retired on May 5. It will be the end of a great career and the beginning of another. I wish he wouldn't have took thus fight because he will be KO'd.

Mosley has a punchers chance for 3 or 4 rounds then its all Canelo. Without and early punch landing Mosley to retire after this fight.

Shane's going to run around the ring looking for one big shot like he did against Pac, lose via UD, collect a check and take his old ass home.

Mosley CAN and WILL pull the trigger when he has a stationary target in front of him. Alvarez fights in spots and there are lulls in his game where he covers up slows the pace down. SA cant fight Mosley like he did Gomez or Cotto, he really needs to make a consistent effort.

Unfortunately that's what's gonna happen. Shane is in this for the money, and Canelo is coming to the ring wanting to prove he's some kind of beast to be reckoned with... just to back up some Money May payday talk.

He might have his moments early and might outslick Canelo but it won't last and he'll lose a fairly wide decision IMO.

    I would too. :p

I don't particularly care for Canelo much yet....I can't be gettin' fired up for beating Jose Cotto, Mathew Hatton, and Alfonso Gomez.

But, I'm not wantin' to watch Shane take a sustained ass whoopin' from a kid who's best asset right now is power. BIG power. :!:

Our only hope is that although his skills may be gone, his chin is stil intact.
