Mosely is on the downslide, but I think he can pull off the upset. Mora was a slick boxer, Mayweather was a slick boxer, and Mosely was just plain afraid of Pac. Alvarez is neither slick, nor will Mosely be afraid of him. Out of Mosely's opponents, he is probably most similar to Vargas. Hence Mosely will be very game, and match up much better with Alvarez, than any of his previous recent opponents outside of Margarito.

My simple answer here is because Canelo really is an unproven commodity, more hype than substance. I'd venture to say Shane would be Canelo's first real test.

It doesn't, as I've said I'm bored. Don't take everything too seriously.

    However, weirder things have happened.

If SSM can hit Canelo the way he did against AM, he's got this. A big if, of course.

This kid might not have been pushed into big mega fights but he is well on his way, you have to build a fan base first. He might be fighting lower level fighters but it's not like he is struggling, he beats the **** out of these so called bums and thats the way it should be. People just want to find reasons not to like the kid like "oh he gets hit too much." He is an offensive fighter and not looking for a flawless victory. He wants you to hit him so that he can be in range to launch his own attack, and his attack is much more damaging then what comes at him. I'm surprised Cintron didn't dive out of the ring and get the heck outta there.

Hopefully Mosley dominates Canelo and retires on a high note.

Sugar Shane looked like he was close to finished during and before his fight against Mayorga too. He's looked beyond finished against Mayweather and Pacquiao and not so good against Mora too. Canelo doesn't get too many props from people people he's young and has no top tier fighters on his resume. Canelo is no Mayweather or Pacquiao. I would not expect to see the same Shane in there that fought the top 2 guys in the sport. I've lost some dough in the Sugar/Pacquiao fight, and was pretty disappointed, but I don't see him having the same struggles vs. Canelo. I guess I'm one of the few that still give the old guy a shot.
