I think there was a couple of fallacies about that fight

    1. Brook was too small
No. He was BIGGER than Gennady and ripped like Rick Rude

    2. "Brook was getting destroyed when it got stopped"
I've yet to see slow motion evidence of that. GGG was missing most of his wild swings. And when he did land the body shots that broke Macklins ribs, Brook was still standing, after all that tam

Having said that, this fight is a farce. Having a great fighter like Jacobs given the green light to come in roided off his face is disgusting

Brook may have weighed more but that doesnt always mean someone is bigger. When Rios fought Bradley he weighed more than Hopkins often does and didnt look overly out of shape but he isnt naturally bigger than Hopkins by any means

Brook was getting hit when his corner called time. After the injury which I think happened when he went over, he did start backing off. No question. Before the injury he held his own. I do agree it is too short a fight to really draw from, but I cant think of too many MWs that I think GGG beat that I really rate above Brook and I dont rate Brook at MW as he has no pedigree there

Im not aware of this? What is the story?

    1. How come someone be bigger than someone whilst being ripped, and not be bigger than them????

    2. Brooks pedigree at MW is proven in that he hit GGG with some devastating shots, made him miss a ton, and stood up to body shots which put down teak tough M Murray and broke M Macklin's ribs. If that's not a pedigree @ MW i dont know what is

    3. There's a huge thread on it if you scroll my posted thread history

To try and give another example.
Do you think Brook is naturally bigger than Hopkins? Brook came in ripped at 159 1/2 lbs, Hopkins came in at a ripped 156lbs against De La Hoya.
Do you feel Brook as a former WW who had just jumped up would be the naturally bigger fighter?

If losing a fight in 5 rounds for one and only fight at a weight proves a pedigree at a weight for you then so be it.
I will try and have a look.

    1. No. But he came in bigger than GGG, and was ripped. So he was bigger than him. Thats all there is to it

    2. He gave the by far best natural MW on the planet 5 of his toughest rounds. Yes that proves his pedigree to me

There's no evidence whatsoever that Golovkin has a glass jaw.
    Who are these clowns?

While this is an idiotic thread for implying G has a glass chin... i will say, it wouldn't leave me in complete shock if Jacobs did land a fight changing punch. This fight isn't as one sided as I thought it was when it was signed. The more I watch Golovkin the more vulnerable and limited he looks to me. Now... is Jacobs the guy? Probably not lol...

But damn the Canelo fight is going to be fire.

Jacobs is a live & dangerous opponent for GGG & will be a handful if he can use speed . Brook had some success because,IMO, his speed confused GGG & made him look a bit wanting.
I beleive its a GGG win ,but I would'nt bet the house on it...there could be an upset!

If GGG beats Jacobs, is he a top 20 ATG at MW?

Canelo is a much easier matchup for GGG based on length alone. If you think midget Canelo would trouble GGG I am not sure what you have been watching the last 3 years.
