I doubt it. You can never say never in boxing especially were its 2 big hitters your talking about, but 2 rusty opponents against two champions? I'll stick with the Klits to keep their belts.

it sucks cause i like/liked briggs. i've always hated peter. overrated, useless, and only good for the hilarity of "WHO NEX"

 

except for when he lost to george foreman or when he challenged lewis for the wbc belt. he did win it from the white wolf after an 11.5 round schooling

 

lol true he did lose to Lennox but he was already linear champ, he is 2-0 when challanging for a title when he doesnt have one and 0-2 when defending it.

While the decision may have gone to Foreman I dont think it was that clear cut and Briggs has always been pretty good at selling the fact he isn't hurt by shots.

 

true. his chin get sold short. essentially, he peaked with the lewis fight. if he had one in that first round by knockout, who knows where he could have gone. he had all the talent but was WAAAAAY too quick to blame his asthma for every setback

 

We'll see he can become hall of fame if he dethrones the klitchkos!
