I would like to see Canelo v Cotto

BTW.. i LOVED that fight. I will be watching it several times. Had it a point for Trout but won't cry about the decision

 

Trout has good skills he just has no power and hardly any speed, Canelo's defense looked good but his offense was terrible, guy was swinging and missing badly

 

Hardly any speed? His straight punches are very quick.

Both men missed a lot because both were defensively sound. They each had their turn at landing leather.

Again, most fans viewed Canelo as the victor, as the polls clearly demonstrate. Stop cryin.

 

acually, effectiveness of the blows count more than innefective aggressiveness. Harder shots are meaningless atsch what is this amateur boxing? for half the fight canelo was the ring general. Canelo also showed to have good defence, when trout came at canelo i barely saw any clear blows. Many of trouts punches didnt land cleanly. It was a close fight, i thought canelo scraped a win.

 

Floyd is scared to fight Canelo. :deal

All Trout had was a lazy jab, it wasn't stiff at all, and complete arsenal? Are you serious? I watched the fight with 5 of my friends and the thing we all kept bringing up was Trouts lack of variety in his punches, all he threw was the jab, he rarely used the straight left, the right hook showed up maybe twice and I can't even recall an uppercut he threw and solid timing? I don't know what fight you watched but Trout couldn't land **** but that weak ass jab...

He wasnt sharp at all, I think you should really watch that fight again, but the fact that you say Trout had a good arsenal shows that you didn't fully understand what you saw, even the announcers mention that he didn't his punches together like he did against Cotto...

By the way Cotto isnt a barometer of how good Trout is, that only showed Trout could outbox a shorter, lighter, shop worn FORMER champ...who just came off a loss, Cotto is just an okay win for Trout, Miguel is done and was done before the Trout fight, Austin is just an average fighter....FACT

His straights are fast but thats about it, his feet arent that fast either, they are both above average fighters but nowhere near elite, one of them will get beat big soon

Trout did better than Canelo.

 

Fight was close that's all I have to say but Canelo was landing the better shots.
