Originally I had Martinez ko'ing Cotto in under 9. However I'm adding in a disclaimer that I think Sergios knee is messed up more than he is admitting making this a 50-50 fight. I say Martinez by tko in under 9 unless his knee stops him from finishing. I heard that Sergio couldn't even spar last week but it's only a rumor at this point. Interesting fight. Still NOT PPV worthy though.
i think he's bluffing about the knee as well. he said he's going to fight a totally different than any of his previous fights. he's gonna stand in the pocket. if he does that...i got cotto by ko.
He's been sparring uninterrupted...his knee is ok. Just a lot of rumors!!! I've heard he's showing good lateral movement in the ring. Body shots will slow him down.
Even though I have always thought Sergio was a suspect PED user, I would hate to see this fight stopped due to injury so I hope you are right.
