I'm completely disillusioned and apathetic towards someone being "Undisputed"

Why go back to the 3 belt era, why not the 2 belt or even the 1 belt?

Fury V Joshua has completely lost its shine. One is a show pony who's lost 3 times and the other ran scared from the undisputed.

Lost 3 times doesn't tell the full story.

He lost once against a guy who he beat in a rematch, and twice against Usyk, and there's no shame losing to p4p the best in the world.

and neither does that - Ruiz 2 was a hollow victory considering how Ruiz 1 panned out. I wouldn’t want to see a third fight, but he didn’t ‘right that wrong’ as such in the rematch.

He definitely did right the wrong, he changed style to match his opponent and completely outboxed him. If Joshua had have fought like that in the first fight and stuck behind his jab he'd have won as Ruiz has no answer to a big man with a jab.

Joshua won, and I'm confident he'd win 9/10 against Ruiz.

Regardless, Fury vs JOshua is still the biggest fight in boxing if it's made. Mark my words.

Indeed. Boxing needs a savior - a mega billionaire to do several things:

    1. Buy out all 4 sanctioning bodies and merge them into one. One belt and one champion per weight class.
    2. Honestly, boxing could learn a few things from the UFC. The sanctioning body should set up fights, not the fighters. Boxers wouldn't like this, but think of what this would do for the sport if Fury actually fought Usyk and AJ, and Wilder actually fought Usyk and AJ, etc., and there were no drawn out contract discussions and legal disputes. That kind of crap is making the sport insufferable.
    3. Get all boxing onto one affordable streaming service. Boxing needs a home. It is currently very difficult and very expensive for a casual fan to follow because it is too spread out.

Could you really trust them to make those fights happen and rank the fighters fairly?

    Still.

It's gone from being a fight between the #1 and #2 in the division for all the belts to a fight between a guy who's won 1 fight in 3 years and a *****. It's just not the same anymore.

I'd still like to see it but having it instead of the undisputed feels wrong.

It doesn't need to be #1 vs #2. #2 vs #3 is still huge and potentially a bigger draw than 1 vs 2.

Joshua vs Fury is still bigger than Usyk vs Fury despite usyk being unified.

It's actually a continually pointless exercise, unifying belts for boxing because once a dude gains all 4 belts, the belts usually get fractured off again straight after. It can be great for a fighters rep but the sport always remains splintered.
