I'm concerned that Wlad ducked Haye

Vitaly is good at protecting his brother....Wlad never wanted to see Peter again, so Vitaly whipped him for him....Wlad never wanted any more beatings from Corrie Sanders, so Vitaly stepped in and did the job....its the same thing with David Haye, who would starch Wlad, so Vitaly will step in and get the job done....Vitaly is a hell of a big brother!

No, this is the other way around. That is, Haye is ducking Wlad. There are three reasons why he likely chose to dodge Wlad:

1. Vitali is older, and thus may have less stamina or 'become old' before/during a bout, giving Haye a better chance to win. Also, Vitali's body could break down before/during a match as it has in the past

2. Vitali is older, meaning that if Haye wants to fight him at all he should do so now before Vitali retires. Wlad will still be around to fight later

3. Vitali is perceived as the tougher and stronger Klitschko brother. So, if Haye is going to lose to one of the two men it might as well be Vitali. That way, Haye's reputation won't suffer as much from the loss

Haye and his team know there is not a very good chance that Haye will defeat either Klitschko. That being the case, you make the smartest choice between them as to who you want to fight. Given the different variables mentioned above, Vitali is a good choice for David Haye. In the short term it probably increases the likelihood Haye will be defeated, but in the longer term (making $$$ and preserving Haye's reputation) it is, IMO, a better choice.

Wlad clearly and emphatically called out Haye last night, and David has been saying for some time he wanted to fight Wlad. After he and his team stepped back, however, they likely realized Vitali was the better choice for them at this time.

so he wanted the harder fight, so its not a matter of Wlad ducking Haye, Haye set his sights on Vitali rather than Wlad.
